How it Works

Find the comic or item you want. You can either subscribe or pre-order:

Subscribe

... if you want the same cover (e.g. Cover A or Cover B) of all issues of a comic series

Pre-Order

... if you want to choose which cover you want from each issue (you'll need log in regularly to pre-order covers for new issues as they are announced)

We will pull comics for you once we have received them.  We'll let you know when this happens via e-mail and send you an invoice for your pulls based on your preferred shipping frequency (weekly, bi-weekly or monthly), and  securely ship them to you when that invoice has been paid.  You can also ask to be invoiced sooner, if you're in a hurry to read a new comic!

What is the difference between a subscription and a pre-order

Subscribe

... if you want the same cover (e.g. Cover A) of all issues of a comic series

Pre-Order

... if you want to choose which cover you want from each issue (you'll need log in regularly to pre-order covers for new issues as they are announced)

When do I have to pay?

You can choose weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.   We will send you an invoice based on the frequency you choose and will ship your order as soon as the invoice is paid.  You can also ask for an invoice to be sent sooner, if you can't wait!

What happens if I don't pay for reserved items?

We will hold pulled items for 1 month.  If any item has not been paid soon after that, we will send you a final reminder e-mail.  If we still do not hear back after another 3 business days, then we may remove all items from your account and make them available to other customers.  We may also remove all titles from your account so no further items will be pulled for you in future.  We respectfully ask everyone to please pay for pulled items - if you cannot pay, please let us know as soon as possible.

Can I order variant covers and comics?

Yes, absolutely. However, we may not always be able to meet demand for rarer variants (e.g. 1:25, limited editions, etc).  In that scenario, we will give preference to subscribers who requested the variant first.

Can I cancel?

You are welcome to remove items from your Subscription whenever you like.  All we ask is that you pay for any items that we have pulled for you.

Can I remove pulled items?

You agree to pay for all pulled items and we do not allow customers to pick and choose which items they would like to pay for (however, as mentioned previously, you can cancel items from your Subscription at any time).

How do I pay?

We accept Credit Cards, Debit Cards, ShopPay and PayPal. We also accept cash in our shop where your reserved items may be collected.

Are my comics bagged and boarded?

Of course!

How are my comics shipped?

We use stiff cardboard mailers to ensure your items are received in the same new condition that we sent them. You can choose either Royal Mail Tracked 24 (1-2 business days) or 48 (2-3 business days).

What shipping services do you use?

For single comics, we usually use Royal Mail 24 or 48.

For all other larger orders, we use Royal Mail's Tracked service - you will receive email and text alerts letting you know exactly where your parcel is, and when's due to be delivered!

What if there's a problem with the order I received?

Peebles Comics & Games will fully comply with all relevant UK laws relating to "Distance Selling" (internet and mail order).

If you have any problems with your order then please contact us as soon as possible.

It is our policy to offer a 30 day "no quibble" guarantee on all items ordered from Peebles Comics & Games, however, you must contact us first before returning an item otherwise we cannot guarantee that a refund will be issued correctly.
